Sales/Service Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Incorporate our company’s philosophy centered on our principles of excellence in knowledge and service.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the showroom.
  • Handle customer’s calls, answering customer inquiries, prepare quotes and processing orders.
  • Provide customer pricing through phone, email, and electronic quotes, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Proficient attention to detail and follow through especially with material ordering & handling methods.
  • Communicate with architects, manufacturers, engineers & sales reps, along with the subcontractor throughout the quoting process.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate essential delivery information to customers, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers by possessing a thorough knowledge of products and services.
  • Skilled at quoting complex architecturally specified jobs.
  • Supervise staff and support warehouse, drivers.
  • Use our inventory management system to fill customer orders and maintain inventory control.
  • Proactively address and resolve customer service issues while diligently tracking open orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain seamless communication with Branch Manager, sales team, and warehouse personnel daily.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years knowledge & experience in acoustical interior building product sales.
  • A minimum of an A.A.
  • Must live within 60 minutes from the office at 955 N.W. 159th Dr., Miami, FL 33169
  • Required to work in the office Mon – Fri. 7:30 – 5pm & Sat. for periodic inventory
  • Ability to assess specs and plans in calculating building material needs and assisting customers on projects.
  • Ability to utilize customer’s construction take-offs to facilitate their bidding on projects with accurate cost estimates that lead to project awards.
  • Demonstrate effective sales expertise as evidenced by previous job experience and education.
  • Possessing strong interpersonal skills in interacting with a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently with customers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes of building materials weighing up to 60 pounds.

 

Compensation

  • Full time salary $70 – 80K depending on industry knowledge & specific qualifications and proven experience.
  • Paid vacation.
